Named Anchors Disappear

I want to insert named anchors - e.g. [a name="Luck" id="Luck"[/a] (I substituted brackets for HTML tags so you can view it in my post) - in my knol so that I can link to various sections and features. However, when I insert my code, the anchors don't work - unless I surround them with some sort of tags - ,
, etc. But even those get stripped out now when I revise my knol.
How can I insert a named anchor that won't get deleted?
