Hi Stephanie
I feel art cannot be separated from culture and civilization. Your other speciality which is Gardening is also a form of art in that broad sense.
I hope you will enjoy the discussions in this group.

Hi Pierre,

Is this group to be about classical art, museum quality art, or art in general? I like to draw and paint, but am not a highly-trained artist as such. However, I do know a bit about European and American art history.

I am not sure if Knol is or not the most suitable support for sharing knowledge.
What is sure is that scholars do not take enough advantage of the web 2.0.
My purpose is not (definitively not) to dispute the central role of Wikipedia to offer knowledge.
My purpose is to check how to generate high level forums for scholars in art, culture and civilization.

Welcome to this group. Share here your ideas on that subject, and tell us the best networks and platforms to know and discuss suitable information.

Pierre
