Copyright is one of the major issues of art publishing, in two opposite ways.
As an artist you wish to be protected.
As a (possible future) editor I wish to copy some art without risk and without paying too much money.
At the very beginning of my presence on Ning I created a Copyright group on another network that I left since a long time. Stephanie, member here on Knol Roll, was a major contributor.
I invite you to open a discussion on Copyright in the Art group of Knol Roll. Afterwards, when the most suitable questions are established here, I suggest we create together a Copyright group on other networks such as Artreview.
